Most hosting companies do not provide support for third-party applications like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal or any of the other wide array of software that can be installed in your hosting account - it’s simply not possible to hire such highly skilled support staff at a low enough rate that it doesn’t push prices up beyond what customers are prepared to pay.
In general, we don’t offer third party support of all these applications either - with the exception of WordPress. There are two reasons for this:
- WordPress is probably the most popular application on the Web today
- We use WordPress for our own sites, so have plenty of experience to draw on
What is covered in the WordPress Support Package?
We will endeavour to help you in whatever ways we can to keep your WordPress site running smoothly, for example:
- Advice on themes and plugins
- Installation and configuration
- Advice on backups, upgrades and general maintenance
- Advice on making the most of your WordPress site
- General troubleshooting
Note: these are just examples of the kind of things we can do for you - if in doubt, ask.
What is not covered in the WordPress Support Package?
Our support is restricted to advice and guidance on using WordPress. If you want specific tasks done for you, please contact us for a separate quote.
It probably goes without saying that our WordPress Support package does not cover other third-party scripts or applications (although we will help as much as we can where they intersect with WordPress).
How do I get WordPress Support?
If you are a new customer, please select the WordPress Support Package add-on in the signup process. If an existing customer, please raise a support ticket for us to activate WordPress Support on your account.
In either case you have the option of subscribing to WordPress Support on a month to month basis, or for the duration of your hosting contract.
Once you have signed up for our WordPress Support Package, simply use our support page to get help.
